基于GPS的南极电离层电子总含量空间分布特征研究

Spatial Distribution of Antarctic Ionosphere TEC based on GPS

摘要: 利用南极区域内的中国中山站GPS常年跟踪站(ZHON)和国际GPS服务站GPS观测数据,计算出了2000~2006年期间南极地区上空高的精度电离层TEC值,分别对极光区内、极光区外、极隙、极盖区的电离层TEC进行了分析比较。结果表明,极光区外的TEC峰值要大于极光区内,极光区内的TEC峰值又大于极盖区,而每日TEC谷值(即最小值)则相差并不明显,这一空间分布特征与不同位置的不同太阳入射角以及地球磁场在高纬地区具有的特殊构型有关。

Abstract: Using the GPS observations from perennial GPS station in Chinese Zhongshan Station and IGS (International GNSS Service) station in the Antarctic region, the high accurate ionosphere TECs is calculated in polar area during 2000~2006, TECs above GPS stations located in polar cap, polar cap edge, in and out of auroral zone are comparatively analyzed. The results show that, the daily maximum TECs in the auroral zone are smaller than outer, larger than TECs in the polar cap, but this difference isn’t obvious on minimum daily TECs. This spatial distribution is related to different place has different solar incident angle and special configurations of geomagnetic filed in high latitude regions.
