RPC对星载SAR严密成像几何模型的可替代性分析

摘要: 近几年,有理多项式(RPC)模型在摄影测量与遥感界引起了普遍关注。针对光学卫星遥感影像以及航空框幅式影像,国内外学者做了进行了大量的研究和试验,将RPC模型替代严密成像模型来进行摄影测量处理已被普遍接受。但是,对于RPC模型应用与SAR影像处理的报道却几乎没有。论文将推扫式光学卫星遥感影像与雷达影像的成像特点进行比照和分析,阐述了用RPC模型拟合SAR严密几何成像的可行性。与严密成像模型相比,使用基于试验生成的RPC模型处理SAR影像能够达到几乎相同的高精度。论文采用TerraSAR-X影像的数据进行试验。

Abstract: The rational polynomial coefficient (RPC) model has gained considerable interest recently in the photogrammetry and remote sensing community. A lot of work has been done on optical satellite imagery and airborne frame imagery, and it has been widely accepted to take the RPC model as an alternative to rigorous sensor model for photogrammetric processing. However, there have been few publications discussing applying the RPC model to SAR image processing. In this paper, we compare the imaging characteristics of push-broom scanner imagery with radar imagery and analyze the applicability of fitting SAR rigorous geometric imaging by the RPC model. Experiments using TerraSAR-X images show that compared with the rigorous sensor model, the RPC model has no discernable loss of accuracy.
