Abstract: In accordance with the theory of close-range photogrammetry, marine piling position method is introduced with the use of a calibration of the non-metric CCD camera and a rangefinder. Using Robert edge detector and Hough transform, real-time processing CCD camera collected images to get the straight line of piling edge; using the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters of CCD cameras, the rangefinder coordinates and its measured value, a mathematical models to solve pile center coordinates is set up according with different piling type (up, down, straight). By the initial value of pile center and Newton downhill method, pile center coordinates in CCD elevation level is obtained, as real-time access to engineering coordinates of pile center in design level. Data through the field test verifies the correctness of this method.
